Our company is looking for a highly organized and self-motivated Assistant Manager, who will be responsible for providing clerical and operational support to our Lubes department. Our ideal candidate has experience in leadership and possesses strong administrative skill. You should be familiar with office software (e.g. MS Office), including word processors, spreadsheets and presentations.
In order to be successful in this position, you should be detail-oriented, professional and have excellent written and verbal communication skills along with a team player attitude.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to
- Maintaining Inventory
- Managing employee time
- Working with truck and tank maintenance to make sure all equipment is in working order
- Preparing daily and weekly reports
- Maintain filing system for data
- Handles queries from managers and employees
- Assist the dispatch team with route planning
- Assist ancillary markets with equipment/ personnel / logistics needs
Requirements and Skills:
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Problem-solving attitude with an eye for detail
- Experience in dispatching and employee scheduling is a plus.
- High school diploma; additional qualifications in management, leadership, or administrative roles a plus
- Proficient in a variety of computer software applications including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access)
