JOB SUMMARY: The Associate Manager is responsible for assessing, planning, evaluating and coordinating patient care as well as the clinical care delivery process as directed by the Clinical Manager. The Associate Manager serves as a role model and resource to staff.
Minimum Requirements: Graduate of a registered nurse program. BSN or equivalent bachelor’s degree preferred. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina. Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience preferred with one (1) year of experience being related to the patient population (s) and/or specialty of the unit. Evidenced expertise in clinical judgement and leadership ability *The “Essential” and “Non-Essential” functions of the job are listed due to the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act. Possess the ability to effectively communicate using the appropriate channels with patients, families, physicians, other departments, etc. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skill necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient. Knowledge must be demonstrated of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data and interpret to identify each patients requirement relative to his/her age-specific needs to provide care as appropriate
