- Must be able to work flexible hours based on the needs of the participants and program.
- Assists participants in learning a variety of job tasks based on the employers requirements.
- Provide support services to the individual and employer after the initial training period and record actions taken to support the individual.
- Work within the existing service delivery system to assure that each individual receives necessary support services, training in community activities, and develops interpersonal relationships with co-workers.
- Accurately document your billable activities, in the agency required format, within 48 business hours of providing the service.
- Complete all documentation in a timely and accurate manner as required by funding agencies, The Arc and/or accrediting agencies.
- Be proficient in use of computer technology, including but not limited to: Gmail, Setworks, Google Docs, ZOOM and other technology to enable virtual training and documentation.
- Provide travel training to participants, when needed.
- Transport participants, when required, to work related events using personal vehicle.
- Assist in job development activities as assigned.
- Organize your schedule to maximize direct service hours to participants (average 80% of work time as direct billable hours).
- Respond to emails and phone inquiries within 48 hours of receipt.
- Successfully complete all mandatory trainings within allocated time frames as required by funding source and/or The Arc of NJ.
- Complete 12 hours of job related training each calendar year.
- Ensure adequate vehicle insurance coverage for use of personal vehicles during work hours.
- Utilize technology to increase efficiency and organization practice.
- Perform any additional assignments or duties as requested by the Director of Project HIRE.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.60 - $19.74 per hour
