Your Role
As a House Manager for the Guest House, you will contribute to our Guest’s experience by being their first line of support. From the moment they arrive, you will be responsible for welcoming our Guests to our facility and orienting them to our program. Throughout our Guest’s stay, you will be their primary contact for much of their basic needs and a source of peer support once the Clinical team has left for the day. You will be responsible for observing and documenting Guest daily activities, behaviors, and other incidents as it relates to their care.
Responsibilities
· Orients Guests to TGH program rules and gives a tour of the property
· Monitors Guest behaviors/activities and documents as required
· Reporting behaviors requiring intervention to Clinical team
· Conducts contraband searches
· Assists Clinical team with therapeutic activities as needed
· Transports Guests on property and off property
· Completes scheduled safety checks on Guests and submits shift report
· Provides a safe and supportive environment for all Guests
· Monitors Guest compliance with facility rules and regulations
· Maintaining Guest confidentiality
· Assists in the training of new staff

What we need from you
Essential Experience
· 1-2 years of experience in a substance abuse or behavioral health related position, or will accept an education with concentration in psychology or human services field
· CPR certification
Preferred
· Demonstrated crisis intervention experience
· Knowledge of KIPU and documenting client information
· Clean driving record for transporting clients
Required Skills
· Communicates effectively both orally and in writing
· Demonstrates the ability to recognize behaviors that require intervention
· Able to operate a computer and work with Microsoft Office suite
· Works well independently and as a team
· Understanding of HIPAA and confidentiality
· Capable of operating all equipment safely
· Ability to set and maintain professional boundaries
· Able to stand or walk for long periods of time as needed when performing security checks and other duties
· Able to sit at a desk and type on a computer for an extended period of time as needed for completing documentation
· Able to answer the phone in a professional manner and direct calls in accordance with policy
· Able to safely operate a golf cart
Must be able to pass a Level II background check and submit to a drug screen as we are a drug-free workplace.
