Responsibilities
- Sterilize instruments and equipment
- Assemble, and sterilize trays of instruments.
- Sorting and storing instruments and equipment in the proper area.
- Load instrument carts with supplies and equipment based on patient care.
- Maintaining sterilization equipment according to the manufacturer guidelines.
- Setting up and cleaning exam or procedure areas.
- Assisting the dental hygienist with charting.
- Preparing treatment rooms for procedures.
- Restocking operatory rooms and restocking supplies.
- Transporting dirty dental instruments to and from the dedicated sterilization area.
- Serving as an infection control officer, developing infection control.
- Cleaning restroom.
- Vacuuming and mopping daily.
- Emptying trash in patient rooms, restroom, staff lounge and waiting room.
- Dusting lights, Windex windows.
- Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to follow outlined policies and guidelines
- Possess a professional and positive attitude
- Quick learner that is consistent
- Reliable
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $13.00 per hour
