Located right next to the 202/302 rotary in Windham, Maine: the School House Learning Center is a full-service family childcare center serving ages 6 weeks-2nd grade. We are seeking caring, responsible, energetic and flexible team players for our center! The School House features large and inviting classrooms, a learning library, teachable space in the kitchen, a large indoor space/gym for movement and music activities, two playgrounds, and much more! Plenty of space for hands-on opportunities of fun and learning for teachers and students alike!

Salary: Starting up to $20.00 an hour based on experience and education. Additional monthly bonuses available for members of Maine Roads to Quality!
The School House is Open 7:00am-5:00pm; Monday – Friday

Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play and structured activities
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents
- Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents
- Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies
Skills & Qualifications:
-First Aid & CPR Certified
- Responsible and reliable
- Degree in education / early childhood development preferred
- Experience in a childcare setting is recommended
- Strong classroom management skills to create a structured and engaging learning environment
- Knowledge of childhood development stages and the ability to tailor activities accordingly
- Excellent caregiving skills to provide individual attention and support to each child
- Love and passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential
- Ability to pass a background check & willingness to get fingerprinted
