JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
The Server is responsible for Breakfast and serving guests drinks and food while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a profitable operation.
During meetings and events the team member will also execute service within the hotel.
DUTIES & FUNCTIONS
are not limited to and including the following
- Greet customers, take drink/food orders, service guests.
- Assist and approach all guests in a sincere, courteous and service-oriented manner, and whenever possible, go the extra mile to ensure total guest satisfaction.
- Learn guest’s name and uses them to address them..
- Perform cashier duties following both hotel and brand standards, while ensuring quality service and guest satisfaction.
- Answer guest’s questions regarding menu items and beverages.
- Take orders accurately and follow proper cashiering functions by completing/closing guest checks and submitting information into POS system.
- Attend meetings/training as required by management.
- Performs any other duties as requested by supervisor.
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
General Requirements:
- Ability to attend to guests, associates and management in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner which requires strong customer service as well as written and oral communication skills.
- Must be able to speak, read, write and communicate in English to adequately perform the duties of the job.
- Must be detail-oriented in reviewing final drink and food products and general oversight of the Restaurant.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and delegate daily workload.
- Must be energetic and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to show initiative, including anticipating guest or operational needs.

Education & Experience:
- 8th grade education or equivalent experience required.
- Applicable state certifications and brand training as required.
- Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office, Point of Sales Systems and other required systems.
Physical requirements:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand for entire shift, balance, reach, push, pull, lift, grasp, feel, talk, hear, see, smell, taste and perform repetitive motions that require manual dexterity.
- This position requires the exertion of up to 50 pounds of force and lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- The employee is required to have visual acuity to prepare and analyze information, operate machinery and tools, determine accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of services/products and make general observations of facilities.
- This position is primarily indoors and may subject the employee to high or cold temperatures from machinery and moderate noise level.

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
