Job Description: The Residential Adolescent Therapist role is designed to provide individual, group and family therapy to Children/Adolescent within Cedar Springs Hospital. Additionally, therapists have the primary responsibility for treatment and discharge planning and interface with community agencies and referral sources throughout the client's course of treatment.
$7,500 SIGN ON BONUS
Education and Experience: Master's Degree in Counseling, Psychology or Social Work REQUIRED. One year of clinical experience working with children and adolescents. Must be Licensed (in Colorado) as a LCSW, LPC, LMFT, MSW or LPCC (REQUIRED)
Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Requires full range of body motion including handling and physical restraint of patients. Ability to perform CPR and First Aid. Ability to work rotating schedules. Ability to drive a vehicle if necessary. Must be able to speak, read and write. Emotional stability necessary to perform the essential functions of the job. Vision and hearing sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job.
