Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, 60 college credits required
- Experience with children required; experience with children with ASD preferred
- Experience and training with ABA preferred
- Ability to interact professionally with parents
- Ability to multi-task; implementing behavior intervention protocols, skill acquisition protocols, and following standard practices all at the same time
- Great written and oral communication skills
- Completion of 40 hour online RBT training within first 30 days of employment
- Completion of Crisis Management training within first 180 days of employment
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Implement ABA treatment protocols under supervision of a BCBA
- Fluently implement skill acquisition programs for any children
- Provide supervision of clients during the clients’ lunch period, which may include heating or cutting food, and implementing treatment protocols related to lunch skills
- Accurately collect data daily (tools provided)
- Accurately graph data daily (tools provided)
- Accurately complete billing/session notes for clients
- Attend staff meetings as required
- Attend professional development as required
Physical Demands and Work Environment
In order to successfully perform the essential duties of this job, the employee must be able to meet the following physical demands:
- Occasionally lift and/or move objects weighing up to 40 pounds
- Complete all requirements for PCMA training as a Practitioner
- Stand and walk frequently
- Move quickly to keep up with small children
- Play actively
- Push children (weighing up to 150 pounds) on a swing
- Sit on a stool or chair for up to 30 minutes at a time
- Sit on the floor for up to 30 minutes at a time
- Get up from the floor quickly
- Withstand all demands presented by outside weather conditions at any time of the year
- Withstand a moderate noise level
Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays and Saturdays. Compensation depends on your experience.
