Every Child Behavior Solutions is proud to offer an exceptional opportunity for a self-employed Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) consultant to oversee and enhance the Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) program and provide school-wide behavioral support in a progressive public elementary school located in Middlesex County, NJ.
This is a 10-month contract (September-June). Contracted hours are during the school day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive skill assessments (e.g., VB-MAPP) and Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA), crafting a deep understanding of each student's unique needs.
- Develop and manage individualized skill acquisition and behavior intervention programs for students in ABA program, utilizing RethinkEd software to tailor strategies that promote student success and independence.
- Empower general education and special education classroom teachers and paraprofessionals through targeted training and ongoing classroom support, embedding effective ABA strategies and data collection into the heart of the school's educational framework.
- Harness the power of data-driven decision-making to evaluate student progress.
- Engage actively in collaborative meetings, sharing insights and strategies to enhance student well-being and educational outcomes.
- Develop and adapt dynamic educational materials and behavioral interventions, ensuring the highest standards of educational excellence and treatment integrity.
- Work with students who exhibit maladaptive/unexpected behaviors and provide support and professional learning for staff who work with such students.
Qualifications:
- Current BCBA certification with a stellar record of professional conduct.
- Masters Degree in a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience delivering ABA services within a school setting, preferably with the ASD population.
- A natural collaborator with outstanding interpersonal skills, capable of nurturing positive relationships across the educational community.
- A beacon of reliability, punctuality, and open communication, committed to transparency and teamwork.
- A deep-seated understanding of ABA principles, coupled with a creative and flexible approach to their application in educational settings.
