Summary/Objective
The General Manager, reporting directly to the COO, is responsible for managing all daily operations of a ATC , leading a patient-centric team and providing clear direction to achieve company initiatives. Additionally, the ATC General Manager implements and maintains the policies and procedures of Garden State and ensures compliance with all state and local laws and regulations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Policies, Procedures & Daily Operations
- Daily balancing of cash and product inventory, and training management team on cash and product inventory reconciliation.
- Observing and participating in patient services on sales floor, including ATC agent productivity and patient engagement.
- Auditing Communication Binder for current information and updates.
- Managing Verified Financial Hardship (VFH) program.
- Maintaining compliance of all local and state regulations.
- Maintaining accountability of all team members, in relation to specific job description.
- Performing general office work, such as filing records, operating copy machines, and using email as correspondence.
- Upholding all company Policies and procedures.
- Requests, through ATC Maintenance Manager all facility maintenance, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, snow removal and technology.
- Providing the COO with feedback on inventory levels and ATC sales on a weekly basis.
- Ensuring that all RMD agents maintain proper recordkeeping such as patient intake forms, cash handling records chain of custody documents and waste disposal logs.
Training & Development
- In training and development to ensure all ATC agents greet patients/caregivers with a helpful, pleasant and compassionate attitude, making every interaction a positive experience.
- Assist in training for team members on HIPAA and confidentiality requirements.
- Ensuring that all team members are trained and current on product knowledge and proper dosage.
- Ensuring that all team members are maintaining current company policies and procedures as well as all state and local laws and regulations.
- Attend weekly touch bases with COO to discuss short term objectives/action items and long-term strategic goals.
- Assist in training of quarterly DOR program for management team
- Reviewing and updating patient educational materials.
- Participating in weekly management team meetings
- Participating in quarterly RMD team meetings.
Driving Business/Sales
- Reviewing sales daily and best practices to achieve goals, with team members.
- Ensuring that all team members are trained in patient services, including patient intake, product knowledge and proper dosage.
- Conducting 1-minute meetings, at the start of every shift, to ensure consistency in message and goals.
- Assessing management team skills to lead the floor, as well as delegate tasks and drive sales.
- Ensuring that all supply orders are submitted to accounting in a timely manner.
- Delivering excellent and compassionate patient services.
- Developing ATC patient loyalty and retention.
- Preparing and fulfilling patient home delivery order
- Oversee coordinating patient home delivery schedule with Delivery Manager.

Controlling & Preventing Loss
- Ensuring that all team members are proficient in cash balancing and product protection.
- Conducting random audits of cash and/or product, using audit checklist.
- Reviewing security procedures and protocols with management team.
- Reviewing incident reporting, with management team.
- Executing monthly product inventory.
- Ensuring daily balancing or cash and product are being done according to ATC policies.
- Reviewing Loss Prevention (LP) procedures with team on a quarterly basis.
Qualifications and Education
- Must be 21 years old.
- 3-5 years’ experience in retail management, managing a diverse team.
- College degree preferred.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Experience in retail, hospitality or patient services preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Experienced in a fast paced, high transaction environment.

Physical and Environmental Requirements
- Ability to work a minimum of 8 hours a day and rotating shifts
- Flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds
- Ability to sit, squat, bend, and kneel repetitively throughout a work day
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to use a ladder (up to 12 ft. extension) and general hardware tools needed for common repairs

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
